About Me
I have always been creative but only became a full-time artist in 2017. I live in a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales where the landscape inspires me every day, whether I am out walking with my dogs, riding my horse, or simply looking out of my window at the birds, squirrels, mice and hedgehogs who I feed in my garden.
How I Work
I sculpt intuitively and rarely work from drawings or photographs. Most of my work is sculpted from wire. I then use various other materials to fill in areas or create structure and texture. I then apply many coats of either jesmonite eco-resin or Casini plaster to ensure the sculpture is strong and rigid.
I don't accept commissions of pets as i find capturing a likeness too restrictive for my way of creating. But I am happy to discuss a piece in a particular style or a piece similar to one I may have made earlier.

August 2026
When I was asked by Project Galgo if I could donate a piece of art for their fundraising auction, I was more than happy to make a piece especially for them. She was called 'Hope', hand-built in wire on a wooden base and coated with resin plaster. She attracted quite a flurry of bids and I was thrilled when she finally sold for £256!
June 2026
Honoured that my sculptures were chosen to be awards at the Morre Summer Cup Polo Tournement.
March 2026
My sculpture of a a Black Rhino received an Honorable Mention Award in Teravana's Annual Animal Art Exhibition. He went on to find a home in Australia. Definitely a well-well-travelled rhino!
February 2026
Thrilled that my sculpture, 'Effervescence' was a finalist in Annual Masters of Equine Art Exhibition.
October 2024
Thrilled that my sculpture 'Tranquil' was awarded first prize at the Association of Animal Artists Autumn Exhibition.
December 2024
I list some of my sculptures on Artfinder and I was thrilled to be named as one of their best sellers of 2024.
November 2022 & 23
I was proud and honoured to be commissioned to create sculptures for the winners at the Irish Racehorse Owners Awards 2022 and 2023 held in Tipperary.
